Once again I have signed up torun in the St Jude’s ½ Marathon in Dec. of this year. I want to thank each ofyou who over the years made it possible for me to meet our goals to help fundSt Jude and the tremendous job they do in battling childhood cancers.
I am asking again this year foryour support in reaching my goal of $5,000.00.
If you remember one race Idedicated it to a high school friend who was battle cancer, the night beforethe race, I got word she had passed away, the next day the ice storm came andcancelled the race, was a sad day in many ways. This year I have many friends,as I am sure you do also, battling this dreaded cancer, so I dedicated thisrace to them and all the children St Jude are treating.
If you are going to donate to acharity this year please pick St Jude this year,
I am truly blessed to still beable to do what I love to do “RUN”, and I can only hope that this ability canhelp me help others.
Thank you again for yoursupport and prayers.

Did you know:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
- St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Donate today to help me reach my goal. Even when the race is over, the fight to end childhood cancer continues.
