I am a stage 4 Cancer survivor, I know first hand the fear, anxiety, despair that follows a diagnosis, not just the person who has been diagnosed but families, friends and loved ones. But to have children who have a whole life ahead of them, their dreams, goals, and aspirations squelched out of their minds and bodies is beyond even my comprehension as a mother and grandmother.
