Chaman L. Gupta, devoted husband, loving son, nurturing father and loyal friend.
His legacy is the permanent mark he has left on his sisters, brothers, sons, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues and even acquaintances. His greatest honor in life was his role of “grandpa”, “Dadu”, “Nana”.
Chaman has always had a special place in his heart for children. He always believed that children should have the opportunity to act like children and experience the joys of childhood. He treated every child he encountered as if they were his own grandchild, wanting to spoil them and see and hear their joy.
He was a generous man who was always looking for ways to help others through his philanthropy. St. Jude is one of several charities that Chaman has been giving to over the years to help fund their efforts to find cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases.
His giving spirit lives on in us as a family and community and we know that he would really appreciate a donation to St. Jude in lieu of flowers.
