This fund was set up in memory of Mariamma Mathew, or as many called her dearly, Mumma.
Mumma religiously believed in St. Jude and believed in his miracles. As a devout Catholic, she would always request her grandchildren and family to intercede through St. Jude. She prayed to St. Jude for her son's procedure and that he interceded during that procedure for a miracle. She vowed to go to the St. Jude shrine in Baltimore, MD.
Mumma donated to St. Jude Research Hospital on a monthly basis and always prayed for the children.
