This Lent, we decided to do things a little different. Since the passing of Vincenzo, the outpouring of love and support has been absolutely astonishing and beautiful. Knowing how many people reached out to us has been inspiring to say the least and with that inspiration we feel we need to do something more. We made a promise to ourselves that our boy would never be forgotten and we want to use his memory to help the fight to make sure no parent has to watch their child suffer. We chose the name Vincenzo so he could go out and conquer the world, and we chose Leonidas because, like the Spartan warrior, he would fight to save the lives of others. We will forever follow in Vincenzo's footsteps, fighting for those who need our help. Please help us during this Lenten period, in honor of our son, to give back to others. We ask you to help us to reach our goal, during these 40 days, because without our faith, family, and friendship we have nothing.
