Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude - CANCER TOUCHES EVERYONE
Over the last year the University School of Jackson has had a patient at St. Jude. His name is Mac and he was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumor in the Fall of 2022. Thankfully - due to the great work taking place at St. Jude - Mac is in remission and re-joined his 2nd Grade classmates! Inspired by his and his family's journey, I am training for the Andrew Jackson Half Marathon.
Thanks to you donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Join me! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.
Hugs - Karen
