Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude
Fifteen years ago I started raising funds to help fight childhood cancer through St Baldricks foundation. Over the course of 10 years with them I raised a considerable amount of money to help fund childhood cancer research. I do this because my wife was a nurse on a childhood cancer unit and because dear friends lost their daughter to a brain cancer. Although it has been several years since I have shaved my head in solidarity for those children fighting cancer I still want to help. Please help me help the families and children in need.
Thanks to you donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Join me! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.
