Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude

Today I have surgery so I will be taking a couple of days off. As stressful, anxiety ridden and painful as these surgeries are for me, the thought of a child having to go through even an ounce of what I’m dealing with, brings me to my knees, but children with cancer, and their families, go through so much more.

Thanks to you donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
