Why we are fundraising for St. Jude

It all started with a single 12ft tall skelly for Ashley. After moving from Illinois as Nurse Practitioner to work the Covid ICU, she has a lot of hard days. I thought it would be best to get her mind off all the stress and let her smile when she gets home any way possible. We love Halloween, and of course this idea naturally popped into my head - comically large skeletons it is.

With her being in the medical field and us owning a local family restaurant, St. Jude's means a lot to both of us. Both of our careers have been impacted by families that have suffered from the illnesses treated at St. Jude.

We are lucky to live in a community who understands this, and most of our neighbors do as well. Although, some behind us don't see it that way.
