Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude
Hi everyone! My name is Emily and my fiancé Casey & I recently moved to Cleveland TN. I've always loved Halloween and some of my fondest childhood memories are going to my aunt and uncle's subdivision with my sister and going trick or treating. Now that I'm an adult, I wanted to give that joy to children who come to my house on Halloween night. I wanted to be "that house" that families talk about at the dinner table after making their own memories with their children.
I am choosing to participate in this fundraiser in memory of my late cousin, neighbor and childhood best friend Kennedy Griffith. No child should ever have to go through what she and many other children have endured, but we can't protect them from the world. Please consider donating to this fundraiser with me so we can make a difference in the lives that are just beginning.
Thanks to you donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
Join me! Together we can help St. Jude change the world.
