Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude
I was blessed with a healthy childhood; I got to enjoy the simple things kids should get to enjoy. I was fortunate enough to grow up playing sports and participating in other various activities. I experienced attending school each day with my fellow classmates. I was privileged enough to never have to worry about my health and wellness.
I am fundraising for those that are less fortunate. The children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are battling entities that are larger than life. They wake up each morning not knowing what lies ahead for them. These children deserve so much better. The founder of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and previous TKE (Danny Thomas) once said, "No child should die in the dawn of life." I cannot fathom what these poor kids go through day in and day out.
I am truly blessed with the life I was given and am deeply driven to help those that are less fortunate than myself. With that, my fraternity (Tau Kappa Epsilon) is fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We hit $45,000 in total donations last year, and this year we are aiming to raise $50,000+. If you are able, please help us achieve that by donating any amount of money. Every dollar makes a difference! God bless the children of St. Jude!
