On June the 5th of 2022, Members of the Chicago Hindustani Meetup are dedicating the advent of Summer to ST Jude’s fight against Children Cancer, by invoking the Bengali spirit of BAISHAK. They will be presenting some musical compositions related to this season by poet laureates Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam. These songs invoke the warm summer season in all its color coupled with the passing Nor-Wester storms. The BAISHAK season symbolizes the scorching away of the old and birth of the new life and blossoming of hope. BAISHAK 2022 - Hope for winning the challenge of childhood cancer.
