Why I'm fundraising for St. Jude
In late August our little girl, Vivian Rose Costello, was diagnosed with a high-grade brain tumor. Since her diagnosis, our brave little girl has demonstrated tremendous resolve to overcome this daunting challenge. We are overwhelmed by her bravery, perseverance, and drive.
In early September we traveled to St. Jude with Vivian, and we are so very thankful to continue her care at such a remarkable institution. We are hoping to share Vivian's story with others and to further support the phenomenal mission of St. Jude.
Thanks to donors like you, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food - because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
