Why We Support St. Jude
Team Google NYC
At Google, we strive to identify real problems and solve them brilliantly, making a positive impact on a global scale. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital shares this commitment to tackling challenges head-on. Their ambitious goal to cure at least 60% of children with six of the most common cancers worldwide by 2030 is a testament to their dedication.
To support this mission, a team of dedicated Googlers has organized volunteer opportunities in five major cities: New York City, Chicago, Austin, Los Angeles, and Washington DC. This September, we invite you to join your fellow Googlers at a St. Jude Walk/Run near you, raising awareness for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer and help St. Jude build a brighter future for all.
Can we count on you to join our team?
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
