Why We Support St. Jude
One of our twin granddaughters LILY was diagnosed February 12, 2019 with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a soft tissue tumor. It was labeled as an aggressive cancer. We were immediately admitted to the services of Dr. Brennan at St. Jude. Lily endured 20 proton radiation treatments (she was anesthetized 5X a week for a month) many many CT's and MRI's (which again she was anesthetized) surgery to remove the tumor when it was KILLED by the radiation and ongoing Chemotherapy drugs which made our little one so sick at times.
We give GOD all the glory for allowing our LILY to be deemed No Evidence of Disease since March, 2020 by the hands and minds of her medical team and the researchers at St. Jude.
Without continued donations given to St. Jude by individuals and companies such as yourself, children like our Lily would not be here with us to live their BEST life and tell their story!!
Making memories. Supporting a mission. That’s why our team has signed up to fundraise for the St. Jude Walk/Run. This September, we’re joining the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
You can support by making a donation or joining our team! Can we count on your support?
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent.
And because St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today. Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
