Why We Support St. Jude
OliviaStrong Foundation
Our daughter, Olivia, was diagnosed with stage IV Rhabdomyosarcoma at age 9, she is now 11 years old. She underwent two surgeries to remove a tumor behind her right eye, 66 weeks of chemotherapy and 28 rounds of radiation. Olivia received her care from the St. Jude Affiliate Clinic in Charlotte NC and St. Jude in Memphis, TN; Olivia is currently 15 months in remission. That’s why our team has signed up to support the St. Jude Walk/Run this September as we join the nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support those who need us most — the kids of St. Jude.
Can we count on you to make a donation or join our team?
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live. Because of our generous donors, St. Jude can provide children cutting-edge treatments not covered by insurance, at no cost to families.
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Thank you for supporting us and the lifesaving work happening at St. Jude today.
Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
