This year, my wife and I are running with all three of our kids to raise money for St. Jude. They all wanted do the 1-mile kid's run together as a family.
Our oldest son, Josiah, has been a patient at St. Jude for nine and a half years. He was diagnosed with brain cancer as a baby, and thanks to the work of St. Jude, he will celebrate his 10th birthday just a few weeks before the run. He is — quite literally — a miracle.
St. Jude is an amazing place:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
- St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Please donate and help us reach my goal. Thank you, as always, for you support.
