In 2018, our family experienced the impact of cancer through a couple of close relatives fighting this terrible disease. While it is terrible for anyone to have to experience cancer, it breaks my heart when I hear of children having to deal with this early in their lives. Kids should never have to worry about diseases like cancer and I am thankful that St. Jude's helps families try to get through these difficult times when kids should be outside playing with friends.

I've run several half marathons, but this is just the sort of motivation I need to set a personal record (PR) in 2019. Thank you for ANY amount you can give to this worthy cause. EVERY single dollar counts!

I'm choosing to run for more than myself. I'm using my running to help save kids' lives by fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as I train. I'm running for kids who might be too sick to run today, but who could one day be running alongside me because the money I raised helped find a cure for childhood cancer.

  • Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
  • Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

Please donate and help me reach my goal!
