Gavin’s Birthday Wish
Gavin and his twin brother are about to reach their 10th birthday! Help them celebrate in a big way: by raising $10,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
These big-hearted boys want to give to St. Jude on their birthday because they want to help other kids like Gavin — kids who are so grateful for every candle on their birthday cake.
Meet Gavin
Gavin was diagnosed with a brain tumor when he was only 6 years old.
He underwent surgery at his local hospital to remove the tumor. Devastatingly, the tumor returned a year later, but this time, surgeons were not able to remove all of it. Then Gavin came to St. Jude.
As a St. Jude patient, this brave boy underwent 30 rounds of proton therapy to fight for his life. And fight he did — his family received the wonderful news that his tumor began to shrink, and now he only visits St. Jude every six months for checkups.
Throughout this whole journey, Gavin’s twin brother Nolan has been with him every step of the way — except for when Gavin was undergoing treatment in the hospital. “It was hard for them to be separated during that time. They’re very caring and tender-hearted,” says their mother. Thanks to the treatments at St. Jude, these twins will celebrate their 10th birthday together on July 25.
Because of generous friends like you, St. Jude was able to give Gavin the ultimate gift — another birthday.
Please give to St. Jude today and help Gavin and Nolan reach their goal, so their birthday wish will come true.
