Events

Since 2017, Gait-to-Gate has been the largest event throughout Trilogy® by Shea Homes communities, with thousands of Members getting their steps in each November. In 2022, we began our collaboration with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to help raise money for their important work through our annual event. This collaboration continues this year.

To participate, Members are encouraged to donate at least $10. Our Members’ donations will directly benefit St. Jude and their lifesaving mission of finding cures for children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

How your donation helps:

• Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
• Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened in 1962. And we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
• St. Jude shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands of children.

We encourage our Members to donate as much as they would like. As a special thank you, those Members who join the 100 Club by donating $100 or more will receive an extra special “thank you” gift from St. Jude.

So long as you donate at least $10, all Members will be invited to:

• Join us for the Opening Walk on November 1st featuring light refreshments.
• Pick a Piece of Swag! Your Club team will have a few options available for you to choose from (while supplies last).
• Participate in the Closing Walk on November 30th with light refreshments and a chance to win raffle prizes.
• NEW! We heard your feedback and are excited to share Members will have the opportunity to track their steps through an app called Pacer. It’s not required but BlueStar Resort & Golf is proud to share that we will be donating $0.10 per mile* our Members walk to St. Jude!
