Today, my brother J.R. would have been 27 years old. As many of you know, J.R. died suddenly and unexpectedly from a glioblastoma that had insidiously wrapped itself around his brain in 1998.
Next month, on September 23, 2017, we will walk once more to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Stamford, CT. In addition to funding science to eventually end childhood cancer as well as improve the overall childhood cancer survival rate, they also pay the hospital bills of children who have already been diagnosed.
Last year, my team raised nearly $5,000 dollars for St. Jude in J.R.'s name. It may not seem like much, but every bit counts, and this is a cause my family and I are passionate and continue to support.
We've signed up for the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer, and we need your help to reach our fundraising goal. Support us by making a donation or by joining our team. Even if you can't attend, we appreciate your donation and/or support!
