Our Story: At just 8 months old, a mass was discovered in our sweet Briggs and we prayed it wasn’t a tumor… but it was. Surgery was scheduled immediately to remove the tumor and we prayed it wasn’t malignant… but it was. After several months of testing and blood work we had thought the surgery had removed all of the cancer.. but it didn’t. Soon after the surgery we were referred to our local Johnson City St. Jude clinic, and we thank God every day for this!! Briggs tumor marker had risen from the initial removal of the tumor and chemo was needed to kill the evil cancer cells. No parent ever wants to hear the words “your child has cancer” but if you do you thank God there is a place like St. Jude.
We love St. Jude, we love the doctors, we love the nurses and we love the hope they give to parents of very sick children.
We give thanks for the researchers working day and night at St. Jude to help find a cure to end childhood cancer.
