Will you help me raise $4,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital? Every donation, no matter the size, goes to a worthy cause.
More than 50 years ago, Frater Danny Thomas (Gamma-Nu) opened the doors for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the mission to advance cures for pediatric diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of Frater Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion, or a family's ability to pay.
In 1978, Tau Kappa Epsilon officially joined Frater Danny Thomas in the fight against childhood cancer. Today, TKE Nation has been an influential catalyst in its philanthropic efforts to support St. Jude – committing to a $2.6 million pledge over the course of six years to name the Proton Therapy Synchrotron / Particle Accelerator, which is a state of the art radiation therapy machine that targets tumors with high precision while sparing nearby healthy tissue organs.. Last year, TKE Nation raised nearly $450,000. This year, we hope to soar past that number and make this a year to remember!
I give thanks for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
I've been moved by the inspirational stories of the kids treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. That's why I am participating in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer event on Saturday, September 23, and why I need your support to help me reach my fundraising goal.
I am once again participating in the Washington, DC St. Jude Walk/Run event. I am trying to reach (and hopefully surpass) my goal of $4,000 raised by walk day. I am asking all of you to help me with this.
I give thanks for the researchers working day and night at St. Jude to help find a cure to end childhood cancer.

How your donations help:
- Thanks to donors like you, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food.
- St. Jude freely shares the breakthroughs it makes, and every child saves at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children.
- One child saved at St. Jude means thousands more saved worldwide.
