I am again participating in a St. Jude Peoria Run and raising money to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital find cures for children battling childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. As an RN, I feel even closer to this cause. I currently work in home health and am proud that my company is one of few that care for Pediatric patients in my region. I am running with an amazing group of friends that have been dedicated to St. Judes for years. My team is Counting Stars and I have been fortunate to meet and run and exercise with these individuals every week. Their enthusiasm has prompted me to join in on the cause. I knew immediately after the run last year that I would definitely do it again this year. It was one of the best experiences of my life. Please consider a donation-all the money raised goes directly to St. Judes.
Did you know? To
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
- The daily operating cost for St. Jude is $2.2 million, which is primarily covered by individual contributors.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies of cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
Thank you for your help.
