As many of you know, I participated in St. Jude for many years as part of the Tri-County Run. Our run was "retired" prior to last year and I joined my wife Janet, brother Mike and several good friends as part of the Running Central St. Jude Run. I'm part of this year's Running Central St. Jude Peoria Run againg this year. We formed the Pint Jockey's "Team" last year and you may have enjoyed one of our Sunday Funday or other events over the Summer. We plan on similar activities and we hope you join us at and support us in those efforts. But, as you read this I hope you will click the DONATE buttone and help me reach my fundraising goal with any donation you feel you are able to make today.
Every penny of your donation is for the kids of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
Thanks to your generous donation:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and neither will I. I will be running outside for that very reason today.
Will you please support the Kids and Families of St. Jude by making a donation?
