I am participating in a St. Jude Chicago to Peoria Run and raising money to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital find cures and save children battling childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. This will be my 7th year running for the kids of St. Jude.
After meeting some St. Jude families over the years on the run I have learned that positivity is a must. With all of the treatments needed and sacrifices that will be made, you must stay strong and stay positive. You have to fight each day and treasure the little things. I've tried to use these lessons in my own family life because even though its not intentional, we take the days for granted. Thinking of their courage will give me strength to run those extra miles.
I will run for St. Jude so I can be a help to kids in need, I am blessed to be able to run for those who can't. Please help me by supporting my run from Chicago to Peoria. Every dollar counts, and helps! Thank you to all of my supporters over these years, I am truly grateful for each and everyone of you!
Did you know?
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
- St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies of cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
Thank you for your help.
