I am once again participating in a St. Jude Peoria Run and raising money to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital find cures and save children battling childhood cancer and other deadly diseases. Being a 3-year cancer survivor myself I'm not only grateful for life but the opportnity to give back and help others beat this terrible disease.
Again this year, and every year, I'm dedicating the run to Reagan Wednesday Kuehn. Reagan was diagnosed with Ph-positive ALL leukemia in October of 2012. Unfortunitly this a very difficult kind of cancer to treat and sadly Reagan pased away on November 7th, 2015. In her short 6 years she inspired the entire community of Streater, Illinois and me so this year I'm running in her memory and in hopes that a story like Reagan's never has to be told again.
Did you know?
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food! I know the financial hardship first and trust me this the LAST thing a family should have to worry about!!!!
- St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies of cancer, and neither will I.
Will you support me by making a donation?
Thank you for your help.
