I feel so fortunate that I am able to be a part of an extraordinary organization for the fifth year in a row! On August 4th, I will be joining my amazing team I.C.E. (I-Inspire, C-Commit, E-Enrich) on a journey to Peoria from Chicago on foot. My goal is to run more than 40 miles again this year!
I find the strength to run all of these miles every time I think of the children back at St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. Those children are able to find an enormous amount of strength and courage to fight the terrible battle of cancer each day.
It would mean so much to these children and their families if you could take the time and donate to this wonderful cause. Any little bit makes a difference.
Did you know?
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
- St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade.
