I am participating in the St. Jude Chicago to Peoria Run and raising money to help St. Jude Children's Research Hospital find cures and save children battling childhood cancer and other deadly diseases for the 6th year. I continue to participate each year because far too many innocent children lose their battle with cancer! My dear friend lost her little girl, Alivia, (pictured on the top right) to cancer and we made her a promise that we will never ever give up! Team Alivia won't stop until there is a cure for this terrible disease! December 30, 2013 a sweet young lady named Cora Peters lost her battle with cancer. She had a tough four year battle with this horrible disease!! This year I will be running for Alivia, Cora, all of the cancer patients, and all of the angels in Heaven.
Did you know?
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing and food—because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from individual contributors, St. Jude has the freedom to focus on what matters most – saving kids regardless of their financial situation.
- St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent in the next decade.
St. Jude won't stop until no child dies of cancer, and neither will I. Will you support me by making a donation?
Thank you for your help and support!
