St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Nashville Marathon & 1/2 Marathon

Team 100

We should make one thing very clear: we are not runners, and training for this half marathon has not changed that. However, we are running a half marathon in a few weeks because we love St. Jude. As a Memphis native, Mary Elizabeth grew up knowing and loving St. Jude, while Ann Walton has grown to just over the past few years. While at Ole Miss, we had the opportunity through our sorority, Tri Delta, to learn about the hospital's mission, visit the facilities, meet patients, and fundraise. We can speak from personal witness that there is no place like St. Jude, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to fundraise for them again.

We're fundraising while we train for our race so we can make a difference in the lives of kids with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

  • Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about it helping their child live.
  • Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.

Join us as we help run St. Jude! Any amount helps!
