"Life is like a marathon. It's full of ups and down that take your breath away." -Unknown
I'm choosing to run for more than myself. I'm using my running to help save kids' lives by fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as I train. I'm running for kids who might be too sick to run today, but who could one day be able to enjoy running just like me.
I started running in 2006 and I ran my first Half Marathon in 2010. Since then, I have moved to La Crosse with my husband of 6 years where my running career really took off. I've run 22 Half Marathons including one trail Half, the Hixon 25k and one Full Marathon. I am a coach in our local running club, Grand Bluff Training, where I help others achieve their running goals. Running continues to be my outlet in life, it reminds me of who I am as a runner. I would love to help the kids at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital feel the freedom and passion I have for running.
A little bit about St. Jude Children's Research Hospital...
Please donate and help me reach my goal!
