Hello, Thanks for visiting my page, My name is Miguel and this year I've teamed up with St. Jude as a marathon runner going down on June 3rd in Sunny San Diego, CA. Running for St. Jude and the children battling all forms of cancer is no stranger to me, on November 22, 1992 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, (ALL). I have now been in remission for many years and I have a lot of people to be thankful for that. I live in San Diego with my beautiful wife and two daughters. The hard work that researchers, donors, doctors, families, friends and any kind of supporter has contributed to the fight against cancer gave someone like me, a 7 year old in 1992 the opportunity to grow up. Today I ask you to help me reach my goal so that every child who walks through St. Jude gets the opportunity to grow up and experience all life has to give.
I'm running for kids who might be too sick to run today, but who could one day be running alongside me because the money I raise will help find a cure for childhood cancer.
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Please donate and help me reach my goal!
