Nathan has now undergone brain surgery, 6 weeks of radiation, 4 rounds of chemo therapy and has 3 more to go. We left our safety and comfort of Singapore to travel to the wild South because we believed that if we where going to beat this and beat the odds we had to be working with the best of the best.
St Jude’s has been amazing to us as a family but also how it approaches medicine and the patient. Their goal is to not stop until all catastrophic diseases are eradicated and they have already improved survival rates.
The protocol that Nathan is one, is ensuring not just higher success in curing brain cancer but finding ways to reduces the Long term effects of the medication so they can lead normal happy lives.
Thank you to all my friends and family for the amazing support you have shown Nathan, and now me through this run!
