Thank you for taking a moment to read about this great cause!
In 2008, I ran my 1st Marathon - San Diego Rock 'n' Roll.
In 2018, I am about to run my 18th Marathon - San Diego Rock 'n' Roll.
Why you ask?
Three words sum it up - Because I can!
I made a pact 10 years ago, that I would continue to run to support great causes every year and that is exactly what I am doing this year. I watch my 3-yr old niece run around without a care in the world and know she is lucky, our family is lucky, and we treasure that.
There are many kids and families that are facing the fight of their lives at the same age and so this year I'm using my running to help save kids' lives by fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
I'm running for kids who might be too sick to run today, but who could one day be running alongside me because the money I raised helped find a cure for childhood cancer.
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- At $500, we have helped provide 1 hour of physical therapy!
- At $750, we have helped cover the cost of 2 days of oxygen!
- At $1000, we have helped cover the cost of 20 patient families!
- Let's keep helping!!!
Please donate and help me reach my goal!
