My name is Sean Michael Butler and Iam the founder of Project"U-Stand"Foundation.I'm choosing to walk for more than myself using my walking to help save kids' lives by fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as I train. On September 1st 2017 i will be embarking on an unprecedented St Jude event that has never been done before on the East Coast; 1,058 miles of hope from Savannah,Ga. to Quincy,Ma for my little warriors at St.Jude.Just recently Project"U-Stand" made Boston Marathon history April2nd2017 powerucking 4 back to back marathons in a row(104.8 miles) raising awareness for Runwell "The Linda Quirk Foundation".I have also raised awareness before walking 200miles for Connor Heffler of Natick aka CONNOR NATION for the American Cancer Society which concluded on June25th2016 from Berlin,NH to Quincy, Ma .On December 25th2015 I concluded a 222mile walk from New York City to Quincy,Ma arriving home Christmas night; raising veteran suicide awareness sponsored by Plymouth County Suicide Prevention Coalition. In closing, i did an honorary walk in my fathers memory for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life walking 100.2 miles on Wollaston Beach June25,2015. We stand in their corner while there fighting the fight so they never feeling alone and when they cant fight anymore we fight for them.I'm walking for kids who might be too sick to walk today, but who could one day be walking alongside me because the money we raise today could oneday help find a cure for their childhood cancer.
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Please donate and help me reach my goal!
