1/19/18 - I'm humbled by your overwhelming support for St. Jude. In just a few weeks I've exceeded my original goal of $500 and reached my new goal of $1000. Thank you so much for supporting this mission and for helping me reach my fundraising goal. Your generous donations have given me even more motivation to get outside and train, rain or shine! Even though I have reached my goal, additional donations are still most welcome and appreciated. Every bit helps cover the cost of treatment for children and families in need.
1/3/18 - Thanks to your generous support, I've already come close to reaching my goal of raising $500 in the first two days of fundraising! Therefore I have raised my goal to $1000. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement.
I am running for the children and families courageously battling cancer, and especially for my dear friends Colin and Nancy, who lost their beloved sister and daughter, Lauren, to cancer in 2004. The strength and perseverance I'll need for this race is nothing compared to their own.
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Thank you for considering making a donation to support St. Jude's noble mission and to help me reach (and exceed) my goal!
