After successfully not dying after running my first 1/2 marathon in December, I decided to do it again to raise money for St. Jude! I'm heading east to Nashville, where apparently there are actual hills on the race course. Help me make it worthwhile by supporting St. Jude!
Just a little about me: For the past 2.5 years, it has been my privilege to work along side a fantastic team of technologists, analysts and attendings as part of the St. Jude Molecular Pathology service. The molecular pathology and clinical genomics labs at SJCRH provide cutting-edge precision diagnostics to help diagnose, classify and treat pediatric tumors. Because of the support of people like you, St. Jude's has been able to provide comprehensive clinical testing to their patients, without the families or physicians worrying about the bill.
I'm running for kids who might be too sick to run today, but who could one day be running alongside me because the money I raised helped find a cure for childhood cancer.
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Please donate and help me reach my goal!
