I am running in the Memphis St JudeMarathon again this year (it will be my 3rd year) and have committed to raise $3,000.00 for child hood cancer for 2018. After having both boys battle brain cancer I was glad that St Jude was there to help us on our journey. (Bryce - (on the right) was 8 when he passed and Alex (on the left) was 9 when he passed) both had the same type of BrainTumor (Medullablastoma). I will never be able to repay this organizationfor what they did for my family, so that is why I have decided to run the marathon and help support them since they were so good my family and me alongwith so many other families. Even though we lost or 2 precious boys, weknow in our hearts this was the best place for them to battle the disease they had. I don’t know what we would have done without St Jude!
Last yearfor 2017 I was able to raise $3,600.00 for St Jude. A special THANK YOU goes out to many family members, friends, co-workers, local businesses, and my community to those who contributed.
I have a St Jude Fundraising web pageset up; the link is below if you feel moved to support St Jude again this year,or if it is your first time. Any donation is not too small! $5,$10, $20 …
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treatsand defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Thanks todonors like you:
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90%, and they won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Feel free to send this to others so I can meet or exceed my goal, especially if you know someone who supports St Jude regularly
Please donate and help me, help the kids of St Jude!
