I am running in the St Jude Marathon again this year in Memphis and have committed to raise $2,500.00 for child hood cancer. You may not know but we lost our twin sons in 2015, they are in the photo. (Bryce was 8 when he passed and Alex was 9 when he passed) both had the same type of Brain Tumor (Medullablastoma). Both boys were patients of St Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis. We were down there for just over a year battling cancer. After being a participant of this great organization I have committed myself to give back. I will never be able to repay this organization for what they did for my family, so that is why I have decided to run the marathon and help support them since they were so good my family and I. Even though we lost or 2 precious boys, we know in our hearts this was the best place for them to battle the disease they had.
Last year for 2016 I was able to raise $8,600.00 for St Jude. A special THANK YOU goes out to many family members, friends, Co-workers, local businesses and my community to those who contributed.
I have a St Jude Fundraising web page set up, the link is below if you feel moved to support St Jude again this year, or if it is your first time. Any donation is not too small!
St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Thanks to donors like you:
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Feel free to send this to others so I can meet or exceed my goal, especially if you know someone who supports St Jude regularly.
Thank you for donating and helping me reach my goal for the kids of St. Jude!
