Y'all . .
If you know us, you know our life's work is dedicated to the care of ill patients. As a critical care doc, Chris has pledged to help the sickest of the sick, their families and loved ones. As an Infectious Disease doctor, Rhonda treats patients who are afflicted with a variety of challenging infections, often in the setting of severe immunocompromise. As overwhelming a responsibility as that can be, the worst of the worst days never compare to the few times in our career we've had to care for a critically ill child.
Our utmost respect goes to anyone that adopts the care of sick children and their families as their life's work; anyone who takes up that mantle deserves the resources to get the job done, which is why we're willing to do what we can to support them. We're going to put one of our hobbies - running- to good use. . .That's why we are pledging to help raise money for St. Jude when we run Disney's Lumierre Challenge (10K on Saturday, 1/2 Marathon on Sunday) this November.
We've been running for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for a few years, and thanks to the generosity of many donors, our combined total is over $12K! Once again, we want to do more than run — we want to run for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We're ready to go the distance, but we need your support.
It costs $2 million a day to operate St. Jude. Did you know that 70% of the funds come from the public? That means your donation, no matter what the size, will help!
Thanks to donors like you, no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Thank you for helping us run St. Jude!
