In 2015, I went to Nashville to support my friend Melissa in her first half-marathon. I met a lovely group of people whose only goal was to help the children and families at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I was touched by the stories and the sheer number of people that were there as St. Jude Heroes. I decided then that I wanted to be one of the heroes on Team S.N.A.R.K.Y. (So Not About Running Ks Y'all) In 2016 and 2017, I participated in the 5K and raised money, along with Team S.N.A.R.K.Y. In 2017 Team S.N.A.R.K.Y. was the top fundraiser for St. Jude's Nashville Marathon and raised over $150,000. We want to beat that this year so my goal is increasing again. It's for the babies and all of the amazing things that St. Jude is striving to complete. They won't stop until no child dies from cancer, and Team S.N.A.R.K.Y will be fundraising until then.
I want to help run St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. That's why I'm committed to raising funds as a St. Jude Hero. I'm ready to go the distance, but I need your support.
It costs $2 million a day to operate St. Jude. Did you know that 70% of the funds come from the public? That means your donation, no matter what the size, will help!
Thanks to donors like you, no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Thank you for helping me run St. Jude!
