For the 3rd year in a row, I am honored to run in memory of such a great person. Parker Rivera was diagnosed with non hodgkin lymphoma on his 14th birthday. He never complained about all the treatment he had to endure. At times, he even joked about it at school. He touched the lives of so many people, lots who never he met him. St. Jude was a big part of his life. Even though he lost his battle to cancer on January 5 of last 2015, his memory and spirit lives on.
I want to do more than run — I want to help run St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. That's why I'm committed to raising funds as a St. Jude Hero. I'm ready to go the distance, but I need your support. Last year, my goal was to raise $1,000. I raised over $4500. This year, I would like to raise that plus more.
It costs $2 million a day to operate St. Jude. Did you know that 70% of the funds come from the public? That means your donation, no matter what the size, will help!
Thanks to donors like you, no family ever receives a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
Thank you for helping me run St. Jude!
