Let the shaving begin! Tomorrow Taffany at Bobby's Barber Shop on Nolensville road will help make all of you who have donated very happy.
Last Friday Cargo Sprint again graciously donated $500 which got us within 20 buck of $1500. Then ya'll closed the gap and then some. So far we are at $1750! To keep my hair off till race day we only need another $500. Now I am asking you who have already helped to tell friend, tell an uncle, tell a Mom, pass this link around at work and keep my hair off till race day
By the way, if you haven't visited Taffany or Mitch at Bobby's Barber Shop you should. They do a great job and their shop has a wonderful small town feel.
Choosing to run for more than myself is an easy decision. I'm using my ability to help save kids' lives by fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as I train and run this race. I'm running for kids who might be too sick to run today, but who could one day be running alongside me because the money we raised helped find a cure for childhood cancer.
- Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food -- because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
- Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Please donate and help me reach my goal!
