Hello, loyal St. Jude supporters and new donors as well! A lot of you know that I raise funds every year for St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend in December. Well, this year is a little different. After three years of entering the lottery for entry into the New York City Marathon, I finally got in! YAY! That's bucket list stuff right there, y'all! I am so excited, BUT that doesn't mean I will be giving up doing my favorite race in my favorite town for my favorite cause! Since St. Jude occurs less than a month after NYC, I am excited to say that, after counting the votes of those of you who already donated this year, I will be doing the half marathon during St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend in December! I am pumped!!!
I'm dedicated to using my running to make an impact. As I train for my race, I'm raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude is leading the way in which the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Thanks to donors like you:
• Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
• Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
Thank you for donating and helping me reach my goal for the kids of St. Jude! I appreciate your help!
