In Memory of
JAMES A. BOLOGNA
SEPTEMBER 13, 1929 - JANUARY 30, 2018
OBITUARY
James Angelo Bologna entered into eternal rest on January 30, 2018.
James was born in NYC on September 13, 1929 to the late Vincenzo & Francesca Bologna. He was a long time resident of Brooklyn, NY where he and his wife, Tora Jean raised their family of four children. He was a devoted husband and father, and enjoyed his family and friends (not to mention Baseball 'The Mets' and the horse races). He served in the Korean War where he learned to cook. We were so fortunate that because of Dad's service as a Chef in the Army carried over to delicious meals for us at home - especially those Italian meatballs! He had a long career with Schaefer Brewery.
Upon retirement, James & Tora relocated to Las Vegas, NV where they have resided for over 20 years, enjoying the good weather and opportunities there.
James is survived by his wife, Tora Jean; daughter Frances and her husband Nicholas Christiano, Jr.; son Vincent and his wife Deborah; daughter Jean and her husband Gus Pepeto; daughter Christina Bologna; grandchildren: Michael and his wife Rebecca, Nicholas and his wife Nikija, Christine, Courtney, Sarah, and Nicole; great-grandchildren Tyler and Maria; his sister Rosaria Militare; nephew Frank Militare; and his brother Leonard Bologna and his nieces, Fran, Elena and Patty.

On behalf of the Bologna family we appreciate your support during this difficult time and your contribution to this everlasting memorial. Your generous donation and loving thoughts are a light of hope to St. Jude children and their families. St. Jude is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
It costs a lot for St. Jude to cure a child with cancer using the latest technologies and care. But because of donations, the price for patient families is $0. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything.
Your donations make this possible and give parents hope.
