Team David began in 2015 while my son was a patient at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis. A small gathering of friends came together to support our family as our son David battled an extremely rare sarcoma that ultimately claimed his life on April 10, 2017.

Each year Team David returns to Memphis to participate in the St. Jude Marathon Weekend of Races and raise money and awareness for St. Jude. Over the years Team David has grown with over 100 teammates today!! We are extremely blessed to have so many friends and family members who join us in honoring and remembering David each year.

Supporting St. Jude through Team David has become our family mission. St. Jude gave us so much during our time in Memphis...food, housing, incredible medical care, and most of all, time to spend with David without worry of ever receiving a bill. This time allowed us to stay focused on the care of our son and enjoy as much time with him as humanly possible.

None of this could have been done without the generous support of people just like you! And while we know we can never pay back all that St. Jude provided our family, we instead "pay it forward" to future families of St. Jude until childhood cancer is wiped out. Please make a gift today!
